The Journey of Life is grueling.
Teeming with uncountable obstacles to face,
Innumerable hurdles to clear:
And as if it feeds on my energy,
I slowly lose every single ounce,
With every single breathe.
Vitality is nowhere to be found on my visage,
Lethargy is the only thing you see.
The Journey of Life is sadistic.
Lavished with difficult decisions to make,
Unresolvable problems to encounter:
Whether you sacrifice or persevere,
In the sacred name of love;
Whether you accept or reject,
Your parents every act……
With just a simple Yes or No,
Hurts and pains are just inevitable.
The Journey of Life is biased.
Filled with detestable unfairness to bear,
Blatant injustice to acquiesce:
Some have to live in pain and agony;
Some are just plain lucky and problem-free!
Some are cursed of being a monstrous freak;
Or simply everything has to be in equilibrium?
DO NOT give me that crap!
YET,
Without realizing……
Incessant exhaustions develop stamina in us,
Molding us to be stronger and sturdier,
Empowering us to endure through hardships,
A Fighter of Survival!
Inextricable dilemmas hone our thinking skills,
Propelling us into a higher level of maturity,
Enabling us to decipher before deciding,
A Sapient of Cogitation!
Distasteful iniquitousness give birth to compassion,
Encouraging us to lend a hand out of empathy,
Emboldening us to ease other’s burden,
An Angel of Benevolence!
SO,
Practice optimism, say NO to pessimism,
Learn to think wide, not just sides……
And then you’ll realize,
The beauty of the Journey of Life……
